I have tried all sorts of things to get this to work, but have had no luck in the past. I tried GlovePie a while ago, but without success, now, thanks to The Silver for making me aware of the TrackIR fixer patch from FreeTrack its all possible!
Firstly, download these two files :
http://www.mediafire.com/file/gynzyymnznw/TrackIRFixer1.2.0.10.rar
http://glovepie.org/GlovePIEWithEmotiv043.zip* You might want to save the script so you can just load it up later!*
- Uncompress TrackIRFixer1.2.0.10.rar and place the EXE into your Dragon Rising installation folder
- Run the EXE, it will patch your OFDR.EXE (and make a backup)
- Uncompress GlovePIEWithEmotive043.zip into its own folder (this application doesnt install itself, you just inzip it
- Run GlovePIE (if in Vista/Windows 7, right click the exe and choose "run as administrator")
- Paste the below script into the script window
- hit RUN
- start Dragon Rising
- ENJOY!
Things to note about the script :
- Kód: Vybrat vše
var.resx = 1360; //horizontal resolution in game
var.resy = 768; //vertical resolution in game
var.centre = 1; //0 = do not recentre view 1 = centre view
if key.LeftAlt then
if var.firststep == 0 then //this centres the mouse on the first frame
mouse.CursorPosX = var.resx/2;
mouse.CursorPosY = var.resy/2;
var.firststep = 1;
end
//the following converts the mouse to trackir data
FakeTrackIR.yaw = MapRange(mouse.CursorPosX, 0, var.resx,-180,180);
FakeTrackIR.pitch = MapRange(mouse.CursorPosY, 0, var.resy,180,-180);
else
if var.centre == 1 then //recenters trackir
FakeTrackIR.yaw = 0;
FakeTrackIR.pitch = 0;
end if
var.firststep = 0;
end ifLIMITATIONS
- Pressing and holding the LEFT ALT key enables the TrackIR emulation. hold this down to look around when your in a vehicle
- var.resx and var.resy need to be set to the resolution you are using ingame for this to work properly
- var.centre controls whether the veiwpoint is recentred when you let go of LEFT ALT. set it to 0 if you want the view to stay where it is when you let go, or set it to 1 to have the view go back to centre
- regardless of var.centre when you press LEFT ALT, the view will be recentred, this is because the view starts in all sorts of funky positions without it
When in a helicopter, the mouse is also used by to control pitch and roll, and so both viewing and pitching/rolling happen at the same time. I am currently trying to figure out how to stop this via a fake mouse input to the game, but no luck so far
